Post-Museum Small Groups
Let's not let people who get a "spiritual high" out of this museum, and
then long for more, lose their passion! I envision having a computer program
running near the museum exit. It would ask people their name, phone #, e-mail
address, what days and times they are available, and any groups they are interested in. It would then compose lists of small groups that could then meet for weeks
after the museum closes.
These groups could vary from location to location where the museum operates, and anyone who feels like starting a topical group on a given subject could do so. I do, however, envision these groups being standard at every location:
- Basics of Christianity. A place for new Christians to learn the basics of the faith, what it means to be a Christian, how to study the Bible, how to determine truth from heresy, etc.
- Seekers' Corner. A place for those who are not yet Christian to ask tough questions of those who are.
- Passion for Ministry & Thinking Big. This is for Christians who have heard it all many times and are tired of complacency. Think outside the box! How can
God use you in a BIG way? Share your ministry passion with others. Pray about various ideas and seek God. Encourage each other to act on dreams, and offer
practical assistance. The goal of this is to launch many other ministries!
